Three more California tribes announced new compacts with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on Tuesday, just two days before the end of the legislative session.

The Morongo Band of Mission Indians, the Pechanga Band of Luiseño Indians and the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians each signed deals to operate up to 7,500 slot machines. In exchange, they would share a portion of revenues with the state.

According to news reports, each tribe will share a flat 10 percent fee on their existing 2,000 slot machines. This amounts to $45 million a year for San Manuel, $42.5 million for Pechanga, $36.7 million for Morongo.

The tribes will share 15 percent of the net win on slots between 2,000 and 5,000 and 25 percent of slots in excess of 5,000.

The deals require state legislative approval. The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians suffered defeat when lawmakers reject the tribe's new compact this week.
