Correction: The tribe does not share gaming revenues with the two counties. The compact instead lists payments that the tribe makes to the counties for services at the casino. The tribe has longstanding agreements with both counties.

The Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate will continue to pay two counties for services provided to its casino, according to a new Class III gaming compact with the state of South Dakota.

The money will go to police, fire, ambulance and road services in Roberts County and Codington County. Roberts will receive 75 percent of the share and Codington will receive 25 percent.

The compact allows the tribe to operate 750 slot machines, up from 250. The tribe could add another 100 machines by 2020, KELO-TV reported.
