San Carlos Apache Tribe set to break ground on $26M casino

The San Carlos Apache Tribe of Arizona will break ground on a second gaming facility in April.

The $26 million Apache Sky Casino will feature 400 to 500 slot machines, 10 to 12 table games, six poker tables, and a full-service restaurant and lounge. The facility will employ 350 people when it's completed next year.

The new facility will be located on the southwestern portion of the reservation, about 45 miles driving distance from the Apache Gold Casino Resort, and about 45 miles from the outskirts of Tucson.
