The Miccosukee Tribe is still refusing offers to sell land in the Everglades to the state of Florida.

Gov. Jeb Bush (R) and his Cabinet want the land as part of a water project. The state has offered $1.25 million for the 800-acre parcel but has also threatened to condemn it.

The tribe says it has ancestral and cultural ties to the land.
