The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria in California will be hiring 2,000 people to work at the tribe's $800 million casino.

The addition of the 2,000 jobs will be greater than the 1,400 net jobs that were generated in Sonoma County in the past 12 months, The North Bay Business Journal reported. That will make the Graton Resort and Casino the fourth-largest employer in the region.

The casino is expected to open by the end of the year.
